ROLLING STOCK
V.D.T Vulkan shall be the exclusive distributor to a Chinese manufacturer for rolling stock locomotive. The locomotive systems are manufactured to stringent quality guidelines. All rolling stock are equipped with a suspension system, which prolongs the life of wheel bearings and reduces vibrational stress on the tunnel’s concrete segments. Rolling stock is also equipped with a braking system for safety purposes.
Flat cars, segment cars and muck tanks can be customized to meet clients’ requirements. Segment cars are available in turntable or non- turntable type. Our rolling stock shall be available for sales or rent.
Apart from the battery type locomotive, we are also looking at revolutionizing the locomotive industry in Singapore by bring in Supercapacitors Locomotive models that will bring huge benefits. Supercapacitors are the lighter, quicker than that of the slow, heavy lead acid battery, providing a low carbon, environmental friendly and green solution.
